Subfloor Soil Termite Treatment

Subfloor Soil Termite Treatment includes trenching six inches wide and six inches deep around the interior subfloor walls and piers where accessible, application of the product, soil spray and open spray if needed. This will act as a protection zone/barrier which will infect termites if they cross the treated zone.

The non-repellent product we prefer to use is Altriset, which is the latest, most environmentally friendly product available on the market today, with the lowest toxicity and highest soil residual, carrying up to 10 years warranty. Please ask for Altriset brochure.

Quality Termite Control can provide less expensive treatment with other non-repellent products such as Termidor, or other repellent products. Please bear in mind that repellent products have a lower soil residual and come with a shorter warranty period.

Don’t be fooled by cheap prices!

Installation of Subfloor Termite Soil Treatment is a very labour intensive process, and involves approximately one days labour, lying down trenching under the house. This must be done to correctly create a barrier within the soil of your subfloor.

Quality Termite Control has heard from home owners that other tradesmen have taken one to two hours to spray the subfloor timbers for them, for a cheap price. To our knowledge there is no product that you can apply directly to existing timbers to make it “termite proof”.

Termites are subterranean insects and you need to put a barrier in the soil for the most effective termite prevention. Contact Quality Termite Control on 1800 656343 if you have further questions, or to book your Free Subfloor Assessment and Quotation.
